This Sunday, March 2, IfIHadAHiFi take the stage at MAD PLANET with some old pals of ours from Boston, thee incomparable NEPTUNE. What's so great about these guys? Well, they just so happen to be a bunch of art school nerds who build all their own instruments out of scrap metal. Obsoive:

This shit must be seen to be believed, no lie. Go to their MySpace to check out their sound, which i can only hope to try to describe as a hybrid of Shellac and, i dunno, Throbbing Gristle or some other early industrial band (kind of brainless, since, duh, they're playing hand-built metal instruments, but it's early in the morning and i haven't started flexing my music journalist muscles yet).
Also playing are the brain-busting Collections of Colonies of Bees. We'll be playing a bunch of stuff off our upcoming new album, Fame By Proxy, along with some old favorites too.
Sunday! March 2! Mad Planet! 9 PM! 21+!

Don't worry, we'll be playing an all ages show at the Borg Ward coming up in April. Granted, no Neptune there, but...
